Breeding Soundness Exam (BSE)

The Michigan State University Extension Beef Team encourages you to have a Breeding Soundness Exam (BSE) conducted on your bull(s) every year. By identifying potential male fertility problems, farmers and ranchers can reduce the risk of a less-than-optimum breeding season. There are several scheduled clinics at various locations in the state, if this clinic is not close to you, ask us about the other scheduled clinics.

FRIDAY, MAY 1, 2026
 at 10:00 am
Location: STAMPER FARM
10950 Bailey Drive
Harrison, MI 48625
with Veterinarian: Dr. Bryce Slavik

The cost is $90 per 1 or 2 bulls, and $80 per bull for 3 or more.
These exams are intended for bulls of breeding age 14 months and older.
To register please contact Brittany at (989) 426-7741
