Registration is open for the Pest and Crop Management Update on February 27 in Frankenmuth

Field crop producers will hear 2026 updates and integrated pest management pesticide recommendations for the Saginaw Valley and Thumb of Michigan.

Michigan State University Extension will host the Pest and Crop Management Update for Field Crops at the Saginaw Valley Research and Education Center, 3775 S Reese Rd, Frankenmuth, MI 48734, on Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with registration starting at 8:30 a.m. This joint meeting will bring field crops producers a full day of timely, practical information from MSU researchers. Join us to stay informed, connect with experts, and prepare for the upcoming growing season.

Four restricted use pesticide credits are available in Private Core, Commercial Core or 1A categories.

The cost to attend is $40 per session and includes lunch and a copy of the 2026 Weed Control Guide for Field Crops. Pre-registration is required to ensure an accurate count of meals and materials. Registration will close one week prior to the event date, so please plan accordingly when registering. Registrations canceled within seven days of the program date will not be refunded.
