Welcome to the Forest Genetics Lab!
I am interested in understanding how forests respond to multiple threats associated with global ecological change. I specialize in genetic, geographic, and landscape ecological tools and theory to address both basic and applied forestry questions. Although I have broad interests, I primarily investigate the genetics of disease resistance and forest structure and distributions. My research program combines field observations, common garden studies, remote sensing, and genomic analysis with the goal of developing management solutions and creating healthy forests.
