An introductory course on understanding urban environments and food systems in cities, and the potential impacts on public health.
This course will explore topics such as health disparities and their structural causes, and policies that could have an impact on these health outcomes. This course encourages students to view their urban environments and food systems in a away that enables them to recognize underlying patterns and make better choices for a healthier lifestyle.
