Exclusively for Upper Peninsula Residents: My Way To Wellness Online - May through June 2023

Are you looking for a way to learn more about healthy eating and physical activity - on your own time? Take this self-paced online course any time that works for you, from anywhere.

WHAT

The My Way to Wellness course reviews healthy food choices, physical activity, goal setting, food safety, reading a food label, and more! There are 10 video lessons along with interactive activities and knowledge checkpoints to aid in learning. Each lesson is about 30 minutes in length. An MSU Community Nutrition Instructor will be available to answer questions, facilitate discussions and provide support.

(For example, participants in the May-June session must register by at least June 19, and complete their session by June 30.) New sessions begin every other month, starting May 2023. MSU Extension nutrition and physical activity programs are funded by the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program – Education and the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program. Both programs aim to reach limited resource audiences, who are eligible for one or more of the following programs: Free/reduced school lunch; Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservation (FDPIR), Head Start, SNAP Bridge Card/EBT, WIC, and other assistance programs. We aim to have at least half of every class qualify by income.
