Antrim County Sunflower Contest 2025
FREE to Antrim County residents
Antrim County MSU Extension has partnered with Ellsworth Farmers Exchange in hosting our 1st Annual Sunflower Competition. This competition is for Antrim County residents. Open to youth and adults.
Seed Pick-up Date: April 12th from 8am-12pm
Locations for Pick-up: Ellsworth Farmers Exchange Stores
- Mancelona Location: 108 S. Maple St.
- Ellsworth Location: 6509 Center St.
Planting Date: April 26th *suggest planting indoors for 4 weeks then transplanting outside
Measuring Date: August 2nd (the tallest and largest bloom wins)
Awards will be given out on Family Day during the Antrim County Fair on August 9th
