Bring a little piece of the garden indoors! In this hands-on workshop at the MSU Horticulture Gardens, you’ll learn the basics of terrariums—from choosing the right plants and creating the ideal growing environment to understanding how these miniature ecosystems thrive.
Then, put your knowledge into practice by creating your own terrarium to take home. All supplies are included, and you’ll leave with a completed terrarium, easy-to-follow care instructions, and the confidence to keep your miniature garden growing.
No gardening experience necessary—just come ready to create, learn, and get your hands in the soil!
Workshop includes:
- Introduction to terrariums and how they work
- Tips for selecting plants and creating a healthy growing environment
- All materials and supplies to create your own terrarium
- A completed terrarium to take home
- Terrarium care instructions
