Participants will get ONE night of FREE entrance to Jack O’ Lanterns Unleashed on October 5th! PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST! Cartoon picture of a jack o' lantern. Presented by Ingham County 4-H and Fairboard. 4-H Staff will form the teams. Each team of youth will include one Fairboard member. Teams will plan, design, & build their pumpkin display. Teams may choose any means, (carving, painting, etc.), to create their entry. Group Planning Meetings: October 10th OR 11th, Community Hall, on Fairgrounds *teams are limited to one planning meeting each. Group Carving Meetings: October 16th, 17th, And/or 18th, Location tbd, on fairgrounds. Teams may participate in as many or as few carving meetings as they would like. People’s Choice Award: Entries will be displayed & a winner will be chosen by popular vote. The Community will vote with donations, $.01 = 1 vote. All proceeds go to Greater Lansing Food Bank. Individually RSVP with Glenda Weiss by October 4th. Indicate which planning meeting you plan to attend: 10/10 or 10/11. (Youth are allowed request to be on the same team as specific people!)
