Title: Packaging and Projection of Spaceflight Hardware
Speaker: Kristine Haugaard
Abstract - In this seminar, Kristine will discuss her industrial packaging work experience and give some insight into the packaging and protection of Aerospace hardware. She started her packaging career in commercial aircraft and then, within the same company, moved to spaceflight hardware. She will include Dangerous Goods packaging, as well.
Bio - Kristine Haugaard is a Subject Matter Expert in the packaging and protection of Flight hardware. She has been in the Aerospace industry for 37 years, having worked for McDonnell Douglas, Boeing, United Launch Alliance, and Blue Origin. In addition to packaging commercial and military aircraft parts, she has worked on the packaging of parts and assemblies for launch vehicles - Delta II, Delta IV, Atlas V, Vulcan, New Shepard, New Glenn, and the Orbiter; and ISS (International Space Station).
