Unofficial Transfer Guides
Students are encouraged to complete the following criteria at least one full semester (16 weeks) prior to their desired term of enrollment. For example, applicants interested in fall (September) admission, are encouraged to have the criteria met by the end of their spring (January) semester.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher with strong grade performance.
- 24 or more credits deemed transferable to MSU, earned after high school graduation.
- Applicants with less than 24 transferable credits are required to provide final high school transcripts.
- Submitting standardized test scores (e.g., ACT or SAT) is optional.
Students can view our unofficial transfer guides for community college courses that will count towards their Bachelor of Science Degree in Forestry. Students may take alternative Integrative Studies in Social Science (ISS) and Integrative Studies in Arts and Humanities (IAH) courses to fulfill university requirements. Other alternative courses can be found on the university's transfer guides.
