Co-PIs/Research Team

Overview

The Nigeria Agricultural Policy Activity (NAPA) is a continuation of the Feed the Future Nigeria Agricultural Policy Project (NAPP) which ran from 2015-2020. Both projects’ contributions to the policy environment have strengthened the pool of Nigerian researchers and collaborators to carry on training and research dissemination activities across the country. NAPA will continue to promote policy dialogue related to agriculture and food security.

Capacity building activities through NAPA for Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) and other associated agencies, support federal efforts to improve its ability to plan and implement effective policy analyses and programs, as well as its capacity to demand and absorb policy research in FMARD policy processes.

NAPA will continue to focus on enhancing the quality of the capacity building work at the national and state levels by giving special attention to aspects of mentoring in the overall capacity strengthening process to ensure its lasting impact beyond the Project’s life.
