Graduate Student Organization
The Graduate Student Organization (GSO) is the student government of the graduate students in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife. Our goal is to improve the learning, working, and social environment for current and future graduate students in the department. We have representatives who serve in various graduate student committees at the university level and work with faculty leadership within the department. We plan social, outreach, and career developmental events within the department including the annual research symposium, departmental seminar series, spring picnic, and a biweekly happy hour. Ultimately, we serve as a voice for the graduate students in our department and are reliant on motivated students who are interested in service and collaboration to better their community.
