Global Networking
The CANR actively participates in the major global events related to food, agriculture and natural resources. These events include World Food Prize (WFP) symposium, African Green Revolution Forum (AGRF) and other such global and regional events internationally.
In 2019, CANR, in collaboration with ISP and AAP, organized a special side event at WFP symposium in Des Moines, Iowa. CANR also has a special booth at this event displaying and sharing information on various programs of CANR departments, schools and units and major international projects.
In 2020, CANR organized a special virtual side event focusing on local food systems and Home Gardens for Food and Nutritional Security and Livelihoods. More than 300 stakeholders from the global community attended this virtual side event. These events provide networking opportunities with leaders from the global agricultural community and help expand CANR’s international networks.
