Education Requirements: Must be enrolled in a turf management program
Experience Requirements: Prefer prior turf experience
Salary Range: $20 + OT and Free Housing and food
Special Requirements: Positive attitude, desire to learn, hard worker and motivated. Interns will set goals for the program and will cover cultural practices, variance reports/forecasting, weed management and pesticide applications.

Comments:
Students will also experience a monthly classroom setting to review the golf club’s management programs. Students will meet with a monthly guest speaker to cover soil test, spend time with the GM on budget and will meet with a pump station contractor, to understand the fundamentals of a pump station. Weekly goals will be set with the Superintendent and an outline will be set for weekly achievements during the summer in turf management practices. Also, students will have the opportunity to host a televised event the LPGA Portland Classic.
