Deer Habitat Manager (part time)

Wanted Ag student looking to work hard to improve existing rec land in mid Michigan.

With the potential for the opportunity to hunt the property as mutually agreed upon.

Create and implement deer habitat plan on 110 acres of hunting property in Clare County.

Tractor accessible trails already in place and food plots already cleared and in use. 

39 hp JD tractor and implements (brush hog, disk, cultipacker, broadcast seeder and all-in-one disk/seeder/culitpacker) other implements to be acquired as needed

Tasks include: 

  • trail management
  • soil testing and improvement
  • weed control 
  • food plot planning and execution, primarily browse
  • mineral supplements
  • water hole supervision
  • schedule equipment maintenance and repair as needed
  • arrange for and accept deliveriesgeneral recommendations for habitat improvement and management.
