Dry Bean Field Technician

Looking to hire an entry-level full-time field technician starting January to March 2026.

  • Pay is $55,000 per year plus benefits.
  • Location is East Lansing, MI.

Duties:

Dry bean planting, harvest, field data collection and management at two research farm locations, and a few additional on farm organic sites. Seed management and quality measurements, bean canning, greenhouse help with bean hybridizations, disease/marker screening, manage undergraduate and interns helping in the program, data management and analysis.
