Golf Course Maintenance Opportunity – Palm Beach, Florida
We’re excited to announce a job opening in Palm Beach, Florida for individuals passionate about golf course management and turfgrass science. This is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking team at a dynamic municipal facility.
About the Facility
- 18-hole par-3 municipal course featuring Paspalum turf and brackish water irrigation
- 36-acre property with 25 acres of maintained turf
- Operates as an enterprise fund with combined annual expenses of $4 million and revenue of $5.5 million
- Team of 12 staff members
Upcoming Projects
- Greens renovation: Half of the greens will be rebuilt to USGA specifications in Summer 2027, with the remaining half in Summer 2028
- Course regrassing: Coinciding with greens renovation, including rewiring the irrigation system and replacing approximately 750 irrigation heads
- New maintenance facility: Construction of a second building scheduled for Summer 2027
- Park redevelopment: Oversight of a $30 million park renovation project nearby, beginning late Summer/Fall 2026
- Additional responsibilities: Maintenance of a town soccer field
Technology & Innovation
- Embracing automation with robotic mowing: Ceora mower for the soccer field and four robotic mowers on the golf course
- Goal: Full robotic mowing of the course by early 2026
- Use of advanced tools like GS3 ball and Turf Rad for turf monitoring
