Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is home to two award-winning championship golf courses - Highlands and Brute - plus the 11-hole par-3 Wee Nip. Interns rotate across all three courses working alongside of golf management team in different maintenance environments throughout the season.
- Work directly alongside golf course superintendents and assistant superintendents.
- Assist with day-to-day maintenance and course setup in a fast-paced resort environment.
- Operate and become comfortable with golf course maintenance equipment.
- Take ownership of meaningful work while developing the skills needed to manage a golf course.
Six-month internship I Flexible for school requirements
What You'll Learn
Irrigation operation and troubleshooting across Lynx Central, Toro
OSMAC controllers and Toro 2-wire / Toro SmartHub systems.
Disease, insect and turf-condition scouting with accurate record
keeping.
Sprayer and fertilizer setup, calibration and pesticide
applications.
USGA putting-green data collection and how that information
supports management decisions.
Daily course setup, championship-level maintenance standards
and seasonal agronomic practices.
How to plan and lead small projects through completion.
Build experience you can take into your next turf position.
What You'll Do
