The Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Kansas, Lawrence is accepting applications for a twelve-month, full-time greenhouse manager. The manager will work independently to manage greenhouse operations at two facilities (8,000 ft2) on the KU Lawrence campus. The manager will lead operations to ensure maintenance of greenhouse facilities, care of plants, greenhouse personnel management, and periodic public outreach. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or related field, at least one year of prior experience in greenhouse operations as evidenced by application materials and Kansas Certified Pesticide Applicator or certification within 60 days of position start date.
