Adjusting Email Rules in Outlook

Instructions on how to fix the rules set up in Outlook after your email is migrated.

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Select File.

  3. Select Manage Rules & Alerts.
    ''

  4. Select Ok on Error Message.
    ''

  5. Select a Rule with an Error. Note that the folder is no longer correct.
  6. Select the word Specified.
    ''

  7. Navigate to the folder you want the rule to move mail to.
  8. Select Ok.
    ''

  9. Repeat Steps 5-8 for each rule with an error.
  10. Select OK when finished correcting all rule errors.
