Improving your soil health while maintaining or improving your profitability should be a goal on every farm. Cover crops, crop diversity and innovation are approaches that can be a crucial component to achieving these goals. The research and demonstration projects at the Michigan State University W.K. Kellogg Biological Station offer you the opportunity to see these approaches in the field and learn about them first-hand from researchers and educators.

Join MSU Extension educator Dean Baas and MSU Kellogg farm manager Brook Wilke as they host Extension educators, specialists, researchers, farmers and agricultural professionals for a field day of touring research sites, discussing projects and networking. Whether you’re interested in fitting cover crops into your rotation, selecting the right species, interseeding for better performance, using cover crops for forage, increasing diversity and productivity through alternative crops or double cropping and improved varieties, we will have something for you!

The Cover Crop and Crop Innovation Field Day will take place at the MSU W. K.
