Bee Palooza draws a crowd
The recently reinvigorated Bee Palooza drew more than 200 attendees eager to learn about insect pollinators and ways the public can support them
The recently reinvigorated Bee Palooza, a day-long celebration of all things pollinator, was held last Sunday, August 25th. The event was spearheaded for the second year running by Ph.D. student Ronnie Miller and drew a crowd of more than 200 attendees eager to learn about insect pollinators and ways the public can support them. Participants could hold live insects, pet a (male, stingless) bumble bee, enjoy MSU Dairy Store ice cream, and much more!
Friends of WILX also got in on the fun and featured the event: https://www.wilx.com/2024/08/26/msu-holds-bumblebee-petting-zoo-bee-palooza-2024/
