Call for abstracts for AGU telecoupling session

Researchers are invited to submit abstracts to a session in this year’s American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting featuring studies using the telecoupling framework to address the growing sustainability challenges facing coupled human and natural systems under globalization.
The session, Interdependence of Coupled Human and Natural Systems around the World, is being convened by Andrés Viña of MSU-CSIS and Thomas Hertel of Purdue University.
Noah Diffenbaugh, professor of Earth system science at Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment and James Edmonds, chief scientist and Battelle Fellow at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory's Joint Global Change Research Institute, have been confirmed as invited authors.
Abstracts will be accepted until Aug. 2, 2017, and may be submitted on the session page. An AGU login and password is required. The AGU Fall meeting will be in New Orleans Dec 11-15, 2017.
