EmailThe COVID-19 pandemic has brought many challenges and concerns to our tables. Please email us if you have a need that we may be able to help with.
Always and especially now, we at the MSU Center for Regional Food Systems care deeply about the health and wellbeing of our colleagues, partners, and the people in the many communities that we work with.
We are figuring out how to adapt to new challenges and keep ourselves, our families, and communities safe while also attending to the urgent needs this emergency is creating and exacerbating. We remain actively engaged with our partners.
Our team is working remotely according to the direction of MSU President Samuel L. Stanley Jr., M.D. and MSU College of Agriculture and Natural Resources administration. The physical distance working remotely creates is one action we are taking to help slow the spread of COVID-19. The COVID-19 pandemic is highlighting the deep inequities that exist in the food, labor, and health systems - inequities that are all interconnected. It has also begun to draw on the talents, the spirit of compassion, and innovation present in our networks and collaborations.
Our work is evolving in response to the effects of COVID-19 but the goal of creating a food system that is equitable, accessible, healthy, fair, diverse, and sustainable remains. We will continue to stay in communication and provide whatever support we can during this time.
