Emily Dean, a PhD student studying with Dana Infante, has been awarded the James Schramm Graduate School Scholarship in Fisheries by the Great Lakes Council, a regional affiliate of the Federation of Fly Fishers International.
The scholarship supports a graduate student at any Michigan university who is pursuing a career in a fisheries-related field of study. The goals of the organization are to conserve Michigan's fisheries resources and to educate its members and the general public about stewardship and the sport of fly-fishing.
