Goutham Thotakuri Receives DeLisa Scholarship from College of Agriculture and Natural Resources for the year 2024-2025

DeLisa scholarship supports students interested in water research and sustainability and is awarded amongst the ten CANR departments ranging from Engineering to Sociology.

 

Goutham’s research interest from the Department of Plant Soil and Microbial Sciences is driven towards the drought impacts on soil pore structure and carbon cycling, where he studies the soil pore properties at microscale impacted by water stress conditions. His work aims in attaining a holistic understanding of drought conditions of Michigan soils influencing physical and biochemical attributes, eventually helping in land management strategies.
