Emilio Moran, a ground-breaking ecological/environmental anthropologist , delivered the 2011 Rachel Carson Distinguished Lecture on Dec. 8 and received an honorary degree and spoke to advanced-degree graduates during the Dec. 9 ceremony. He also shared time and expertise with CSIS members and people across campus.
Moran is the Rudy Professor of Anthropology and Distinguished Professor and serves as director of the Anthropological Center for Training and Research on Global Environmental Change at Indiana University.
