MSU Agriculture Innovation Day: Focus on Fruit and Vegetable Technologies offers credits for ag prof
The third annual MSU Agriculture Innovation Day: Focus on Fruit and Vegetable Technologies will take place on June 28 at the MSU Southwest Research and Extension Center.
This one-day event features innovative sessions on topics important to the fruit and vegetable industry. Growers and agribusiness professionals attending the event will have a chance to hear from leaders in the industry while also earning Restricted Use Pesticide (RUP) credits and Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) continuing education units (CEU).
Restricted Use Pesticide credits allow license pesticide applicators to renew their license through the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development by attending approved educational events. MSU Agriculture Innovation Day: Focus on Fruit and Vegetable Technologies is approved for six RUP credits in categories; 1B – Vegetable Crops, 1C- Fruit Crops, Commercial and Private CORE.
Certified Crop Advisors must participate in 40 hours of continuing education every two years to maintain their certification. MSU Agriculture Innovation Day: Focus on Fruits and Vegetables offers CEU’s in Integrated Pest Management, Crop Management, Soil & Water Management and Sustainability.
MSU Agriculture Innovation Day: Focus on Fruit and Vegetable Technologies, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. June 28 at the MSU Southwest Research and Extension Center in Benton Harbor, Michigan, offers a variety of fruit, vegetable and grape growing technologies, including the latest information on pollinators and equipment. The event has been approved for Restricted Use Pesticide Credits (6 credits) and Certified Crop Advisor CEUs in Integrated Pest Management, Crop Management, Soil and Water Management and Sustainability.
