The 2024 field day for the Trevor Nichols Research Center will be held Thursday, Sept. 26, from 1-4 p.m. with doors opening at 12:30 p.m. This annual event is designed to provide a venue for Michigan State University (MSU) researchers to report on their pest management research conducted at the station. It also provides an opportunity for pest management advisors and agrochemical industry representatives to discuss the results with the MSU research teams.

There is no need to register for the Trevor Nichols Research Center field day. The program will start in the Gus Howitt Conference Room with introductions to the center programs and an overview of the 2024 fruit pest management season. Attendees will then travel around the research station for presentations on research trials conducted in various berry crops, grapes and tree fruit crops.

Presenters during the day will include Julianna Wilson (tree fruit entomologist), Tim Miles (small fruit and hops plant pathologist) and Rufus Isaacs (small fruit entomologist and center coordinator).

The Trevor Nichols Research Center is located at 6237 124th Ave, Fennville, MI 49408. Please contact Laura Lamb at lambl@msu.edu with questions about the field day.

This event is delivered as part of the Michigan State University Extension fruit team programs.
