Using the Outlook Scheduling Assistant

Instructions for how to view open times for your attendees in Outlook by using the scheduling assistant option.

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Select the Calendar icon at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Open a New Appointment.

  4. Enter the Subject but do not enter a location.
  5. Select Invite Attendees.

  6. Select To.
    ''

  7. Enter the last name of the ANR User(s) whose calendar you wish to open.
  8. Double-click the User's Name or Required/Optional.
  9. Select Ok.

  10. Select Scheduling Assistant. This allows you to view the availability of all attendees in a schedule view.

  11. Click and Drag over the time-slot during which you wish to schedule. Note that the Start and End Time change to match the time-slot you chose.

  12. Select Send.
