John R. Brake
Professor Brake was at MSU from 1959 to 1981, working in agricultural finance. He had primarily teaching and research appointments.
He left MSU in 1981 and accepted an appointment at Cornell University in the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management as the first full-time, W. I. Myers Professor of Agricultural Finance. He retired as Professor Emeritus in 1996.
