Cora Johnson
Cora Johnson is a Research Assistant for the Institute of Water Research. She has a B.A. in Environmental Science and Geology from Earlham College and an M.S. in Geographic Information Systems and Web Map Programming from the University of Wisconsin — Madison. She assists with the development of IWR’s online tools including the Michigan Hydrologic Framework.
While growing up in Indiana, Cora learned the value of water science from her mother, a water quality specialist. Prior to completing her GIS development master’s degree, Cora focused on GIS analysis, hazard mitigation, and urban planning. She is excited to work in her interest areas of environmental science and GIS development at IWR.
