Jamie Wilson
Jamie is a communications manager for Michigan State University Extension, where she facilitates and manages the communication and marketing needs of 4-H Youth Development and MSU Extension child and family development programs and staff.
In her role, Jamie works closely with children and youth leadership, workgroups and staff, providing strategic communications insight and direction. She also coordinates statewide marketing campaigns and initiatives, writes content and outreach materials, provides event communication assistance, manages communication assets such as newsletters and web content, and assists MSU Extension children and youth personnel with website maintenance. Jamie serves as the state liaison to National 4-H Council for the national 4-H Grows Here marketing campaign and as such, leads the initiative in Michigan. In this role, she provides customization and assistance for campaign assets, leads 4-H alumni engagement efforts and assists with statewide implementation of the campaign.
Jamie has a Bachelor of Science degree from MSU in Family Community Services and more than 15 years of experience in the communications field, previously working with an agricultural commodity organization and the State of Michigan’s lead agency on service and volunteerism.
