Jenny Speyer
Jenny Speyer is a Michigan State University Extension 4-H Program Instructor focused on promoting and strengthening 4-H programs in areas where 4-H has little or no presence and work to create new programming opportunities for underserved youth. She has worked in this capacity since April 2022. Jenny's offices are located in Livingston and Washtenaw Counties she provides programming in both counties.
In this role, Jenny focuses on the following programs:
- Jr. Master Gardener
- Shooting Sports
- Cloverbuds
- Embryology
- 4-H Exploration Days
- Afterschool Programming
- School Enrichment
- Library Programs
- SPIN Clubs
Prior to her work in 4-H, Jenny worked as an Assistant Education Coordinator and Program Leader at the MSU Tollgate Farm & Education Center in Novi, MI. Jenny graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in History and a secondary teaching certificate in history. She also taught history at the Detroit Institute of Technology at Cody High School and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kazakhstan from 2008-2010. Jenny is also a Certified Interpretive Guide.
