School of Packaging APEX Lab: AI for Paper & Plastic Engineering and Manufacturing Systems Integration Lab

Manal holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Food Science from the University of Guelph, Canada, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Physical Chemistry, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry from Tanta University, Egypt. She worked in the APEX Group from August 2023 to April 2024 and rejoined the group in January 2026, where she continues her research. Her work focuses on paper coating and paper recycling, with an emphasis on developing sustainable and high-performance paper-based materials.
