Tyreen Prunick
Tyreen Prunick is a Michigan State University Extension 4-H Program Coordinator in Alger County. She has served in this role since April 2023.
In this role Tyreen provides leadership and management of local 4-H programs, volunteers, and youth participants in Alger County. She promotes and strengthens the Alger County 4-H program by developing programs and partnerships, promoting and evaluating 4-H programs, and recruiting as well as training volunteers. Tyreen is also the liaison from the state of Michigan 4-H office that helps to ensure statewide opportunities and information are available to local participants.
Prior to joining MSU Extension in 2023, Tyreen most recently comes from a career in corporate retail. Additionally, Tyreen has held many roles that serve her passion for representing others – notably youth.
Tyreen attended Central Michigan University (Fire Up, Chips!) where she was a member of and the Treasure for the Communication Association. She was also an Undergraduate Teacher Assistant and Coordinator for the Undergraduate Teacher Assistants. Tyreen earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Interpersonal and Public Communication, and a minor in Psychology.
