10 Cents a Meal for Michigan’s Kids and Farms (10 Cents) helps schools source and serve fresh and minimally processed (including frozen) Michigan-grown vegetables, fruits, and legumes. One of the first of its kind in the United States, this state-funded program matches what schools spend on fresh Michigan-grown products with grants of up to 10 cents per meal.
Schools and early care and education sites in every county of Michigan are eligible to apply for 10 Cents matching grant funds. During the 2021-2022 school year, there were 257 grantees a cross the state.
The Michigan Association of Superintendents and Administrators (MASA) is arranged to serve Michigan schools across 10 regions. In this resource, the 2021-2022 10 Cents grantees are listed by their MASA region.
