EmailPoster presentation from the 2016 National Extension Association Family and Consumer Sciences annual meeting in Big Sky, Montana. This training prepares Extension educators to engage in the translation of research to community-based education. “Are You Research Ready?” is a workshop covering topics such as steps of the research process, responsible conduct of research, and how to communicate with researchers for grant project inclusion. The “Are You Research Ready” workshop is prime for multi-state Extension efforts that wish to build faculty and staff competencies in applied research and program evaluation. Other Extension systems in different states may be interested in adopting the training materials.
