  • Biting flies
  • Multiple-use hypodermic needles
  • Gouge type dehorning and tattooing
  • Blood exchange during natural breeding
  • Reproductive exam and artificial insemination sleeves contaminated with BLV-infected blood

  • Colostrum and milk
  • Placental transmission and transmission by blood exchange during birthing
