MDARD's Farm to Family Program is a new program focused on strengthening local food supply chains, engaging community input, and embracing innovation. The program offers grants, networking opportunities, and marketing consultations to farmers, food businesses, and other local food supply chain stakeholders across the state. The purpose of this listening session is to identify the emerging needs and opportunities that farmers and other food business have identified within their communities. The feedback we collect will directly inform our program's funding and technical assistance priorities in future years. If you have ideas about the types of projects our team should fund or would like to share feedback on your experiences in local food value chains, we encourage you to attend this session!
The 2026 MI Ag Ideas to Grow With conference will be held virtually, February 23 - March 5, 2026.
