MSU Extension and Blue Zones Activate Barry County are excited to announce the fourth and final workshop in the Local Farm Series. This workshop will provide attendees with valuable information on new grant programs that are available to support farmers in Michigan. It will feature speakers who bring resources to support farmers who are looking for grant and funding opportunities and resources to help them apply. The second part of the workshop will focus on farmer-to-farmer collaboration for Barry County. We will explore different models that have worked to bring farmers together and what this could look like for regional farmers in and around Barry County. We will also provide updates and information on upcoming projects in Barry County that could provide an impact and market opportunity for farmers.
