Sew your own apron, kitchen towel and oven mitts! Youth ages 8-19 will create 3 sewing projects over 2 days.
Please bring your own machine for ease of use and to practice your skills.
You will also need to bring:
- a reusable water bottle plus your lunch and snacks.
- 1 yard main fabric for apron (canvas, outdoor fabric or denim. This should be a fabric with some structure and weight.)
- 1 yard 100% quilting cotton
- 1 yard 100% quilting cotton
- Matching thread if they prefer but white, black and gray will be provided.
We recommend two different quilting cotton fabrics that coordinate with main apron fabric. They will be used for apron pockets, kitchen towel and oven mitts. Oven mitts must be 100% cotton or fabric that will NOT melt.
Registrations cancelled after March 17th and no-shows are still responsible for the fee.
