How to Apply
MSU Students
Please submit the following documents to Ingrid Aguayo (aguayofu@msu.edu) no later than April 8, 2026, COB. Combine all files into a single pdf entitled ‘Your_name_UEF_Exchange_app’.
Application components are:
- Your resume, including coursework, work experience, volunteer activities, or other experiences.
- A short essay (500 words or less) that indicates your interest and the impact on your academic program.
- A letter of reference/support from a professor. The statement should originate from a faculty member who is familiar with your interests.
- A preliminary study plan (please check here for current offerings)
Eligibility
- MSU Forestry Major
- Minimum sophomore level
- GPA greater than 3.0
- Valid passport, expiration date must be after May 2027
UEF Students
First phase: Internal application process at the UEF

Collect the following annexes with the application:

Order a transcript of record

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Copy of the passport information page

Draft Learning Agreement using the attached UEF template

(Optional) motivation letter in English.

Describe why you are applying for this exchange period, describe what are your aims for the exchange period, your previous studies and future study and career plans.
