November 7, 1:00 PM: EGLE announces Michigan Coastal Management Program grant funding opportunity for fiscal year 2026. Host: Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy.

November 20, 10:00 AM: Exploring Michigan's wetlands with Michigan Natural Features Inventory. Presented by Jesse Lincoln, Michigan Natural Features Inventory. Host: Michigan Wetlands Association. $

December 10, 2:00 PM: MGLP Lake Conservation Grant: Information for potential applicants. Presented by Joe Nohner, Michigan DNR and Midwest Glacial Lakes Partnership. Host: Midwest Glacial Lakes Partnership.

January - March 2025: Introduction to Lakes (6-week self-paced online course covering a range of lake topics including lake ecology, watersheds, shorelines, aquatic plant management, Michigan water law, and community involvement) Presented by the Michigan State University Extension Center for Lakes and Streams. $

January 9-10, 2025: Virtual Harmful Algal Bloom Symposium. Host: North Central Region Water Network's Algal Bloom Action Team.

Ongoing: Michigan Paddle Stewards (three-hour, self-paced online course teaches paddlers to identify, report, and prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species). Host: Michigan Sea Grant.
