The much-anticipated 2024 Northwest Michigan Orchard and Vineyard Show will take place January 16-17 at the Grand Traverse Resort in Acme, Michigan.
Michigan State University Extension is thrilled to announce the much-anticipated 2024 Northwest Michigan Orchard and Vineyard Show, set to take place Jan. 16-17, 2024, at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, 100 Grand Traverse Village Boulevard, Acme, MI 49610.
The registration desk opens at 8 a.m. on Jan. 16. General admission cost is $50 in advance or $55 at the door (for both days). Techniques of Alcohol Management (TAM) training general admission cost is $45 in advance and not available at the door.

We will be introducing new enhancements to the grape section this year. Participants can obtain a TAM certificate via the Michigan Licensed Beverage Association's MiCAST Training Module, as well as participate in thought-provoking discussions on the future of Michigan wine funding within the Michigan grape and wine industry.

Viticulture session – Tuesday, Jan. 16:

- Panel Discussion: grape production costs, P45
Enology session – Wednesday, Jan. 17:
- Dive into discussions on oxygen ingress and permeability for closures.
- Critical tastings of Midwestern wine styles.

Industry discussion and marketing session – Wednesday, Jan. 17:
- TAM training by the Michigan Licensed Beverage Association.
- Michigan Wine industry funding town hall panel—an industry discussion on funding initiatives.
- MiCAST Training Module—part of a three-part credentialed program on quality customer service.
- Michigan Wine Collaborative annual meeting and election.
Michigan restricted use pesticide (RUP) applicator recertification credits will be available.
