Paper material characterization

The following are examples of standardized tests performed on papers.

TAPPI T410: Grammage of paper and paperboard (weight per unit area)

TAPPI T412: Moisture in pulp, paper and paperboard

TAPPI T494: Tensile properties of paper and paperboard (using constant rate of elongation apparatus)

TAPPI T811: Edgewise compressive strength of corrugated fiberboard

TAPPI T815: Coefficient of static friction (slide angle) of packaging and packaging materials (including shipping sack papers, corrugated and solid fiberboard) (inclined plane method)
