Amanda Sorensen
Amanda is a communication and outreach specialist in the Department of Community Sustainability. Her work in CSUS focuses on developing, managing, and supporting broader departmental research and development granting initiatives, research on science communication and outreach, and alumni relations.
Amanda completed her PhD at Rutgers University in the Ecology and Evolution Program, specializing in science communication and human dimensions of environmental issues. Prior to joining CSUS, Amanda was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Nebraska Cooperative Fish & Wildlife Research Unit and College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.
