Ayala Wineman

Ayala Wineman is a fixed term Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural, Food, and Resource Economics (AFRE). She also serves as Research Scientist at the Global Child Nutrition Foundation. A first stream of her research relates broadly to rural development and food security, focusing on food systems transformation, nutrition, and agricultural land markets. This work is primarily based in sub-Saharan Africa. A second stream of research relates to school feeding programs around the world and how they evolve over time and can be linked to agricultural development.
