Duane Mezga
Research Interests: Application of freehand drawing techniques to the design process with an emphasis on digital colorization.
Professor Duane Mezga is a registered landscape architect. He has a BS in Biology and Botany from Kent State University (1967), a Master of Science in Plant Ecology from the University of Illinois (1969), a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Illinois (1973). Professor Mezga taught classes in Site Design, Urban Design, Freehand Drawing and Graphic Communication. He traveled widely throughout Europe, leading numerous Study Abroad programs to the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany and Poland. Professor Mezga has published in national and international journals in the areas of Holocaust memorialization and post-World War II Polish city planning.
