Background:
Hannah is a first-year M.S. student working with Dr. Angela Burrow. She graduated with a B.A in Biology and Environmental Science from Miami University (OH) in May, 2024. As an undergraduate, she worked on an NSF REU project that used mesocosm experiments to investigate competition between Blanchard’s cricket frogs (Acris blanchardi) and green frogs (Lithobates clamitans) across a leaf litter gradient. She has also served on the Shenandoah National Park Fish Crew to monitor cold-water fish populations using backpack electrofishing techniques. As a graduate student, Hannah intends to study the effects of wetland restoration and management techniques on amphibians. In her free time, Hannah enjoys hiking, fishing, and reading.
